Beautiful Paper

So I thought I had died and gone to heaven when I entered 'Image Paperie' on Glenferrie Road, Malvern.

I could have spent all day there! There are so many beautiful patterns and prints

to feast your eyes on.

The store stocks hand-made paper, vintage ink stamps, chic wrapping sheets, cute stationery and a plethora of hand crafted greeting cards.

What I love about this place is that most of the designs featured are hand crafted or inspired by classic art forms like origami, calligraphy and traditional illustration.

A good place to visit for inspiration. I'm definitely adding this little gem to my 'favourites' list.

Proserpine Cottage

My husband has recently been working in Geelong and his work has put him up in a motel in the town there. Since he'll be there for the next month, we decided being away from each other for that long was just not going to do.

Thankfully, his Uncle and Auntie who live in Ceres (just ten minutes out of Geelong) happen to own a beautiful country house with a cute little cottage

named 'Proserpine Cottage' which they generously opened up to us. The cottage was once run as a B&B and I can see why anyone would want to spend

their time there.

This delightful little cottage is surrounded by immaculate grounds, including an olive tree plantation, gorgeous gardens and country style features.

I think I can get used to the idea of my husband working in Geelong if it means

I get to spend some more time at Proserpine Cottage! Thanks Uncle Simon and Auntie Julie!
